Appointment Policy

We understand that unplanned issues can arise and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Should this occur, we respectfully ask that you contact Greenslopes Obstetrics & Gynaecology on (07) 3188 5000 during business hours or info@gsog.com.au outside of business hours. The cancellation notice period is based on clear business days when notification is received, therefore excludes weekends.

You are required to notify Greenslopes Obstetrics & Oncology of any cancellation or sickness 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid being charged. Non-attendance or appointments cancelled at short notice are very difficult to fill. In the instance that the outlined conditions are not met, the patient will incur a fee of $95 including GST. Cancellation fees are not eligible for Medicare rebate.

If an unexpected illness arises, please do not attend your appointment in person. We will be able to provide alternative appointment options to ensure the safety of all doctors, our staff and patients.

All doctors and allied health professionals want to be available for your needs, and for the needs of all other patients. When a patient does not show for a scheduled appointment, other patients lose the opportunity to be seen. We appreciated your understanding
