At Greenslopes Obstetrics and Gynaecology, our consulting endocrinologist, Dr Christina Jang from Rhythm Endocrinology & Diabetes, assists with the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders.
Dr Jang has a special interest in the management of gestational diabetes, thyroid disorders of pregnancy, polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual disorders and the menopause. In addition to reproductive endocrinology, Dr Jang also has extensive experience other areas of endocrinology such as pituitary disorders, osteoporosis and diabetes.
Dr Christina Jang is an Endocrinologist treating all endocrine conditions. She has special interest in female reproductive endocrinology, menopause and pituitary disease. For her, endocrinology is an area of medicine which presents opportunities to deliver far-reaching benefits to patients.
Dr Jang achieved her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Melbourne’s Monash University in 1994. She was awarded her Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2003, and her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Melbourne University in 2008.
Dr Kate Haigh
Dr Kate Haigh assists with the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders, with a focus on patient education and patientcentred care. Her practice includes all areas of endocrinology with special interests in diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, menopause and endocrine disorders of reproduction and pregnancy.
Dr Haigh completed a Bachelor of Heath Science, Nutrition (Distinction) (BHSc) at the Queensland University of Technology in 2008 and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science (Honours) (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in 2012.
